Coloured lenses

dd has just turned 16 and I can see from her Revolut account has spent money buying coloured contact lenses from a US site. AIBU to hit the roof? They have the potential to cause problems surely? She likes to be a little non-conformist, shall we say, in how she does her make up and I can guarantee these will be ones which change the whole eye colour, not just the iris.

You're probably better off having a calm talk about how they could potentially be damaging. And sourcing some from a reputable supplier.

Just hitting the roof with a 16 year old is just going to cause her to take an entrenched position.
