I think that Peter Andre treated Katie badly and now it seems like the kids have turned on her?

Just seen a clip of Peter reading/ hearing things men have written about Princess.

just why?

The 2 youngest children were removed from her care, the next 2 were raised by their father, the eldest has been in a full time residential college for years. She assaulted a woman at the school gates, housed her children in squalor (the ‘mucky mansion’ was not cute, it was a sign of her chaotic drug use and narcissism) killed their pets, had their childhood home repossessed through bankruptcy, crashed her car while drug/drunk driving with the youngest at home, and paraded them all as tabloid fodder throughout their lives. She is by any standards an unfit mother and a deluded middle age has been desperate for attention. Princess has to live with the knowledge that there is a photo of her mum with actual shit on her belly. Thank goodness she has at least one stable parent.

Her mum says it didn’t happen. I’m actually more inclined to believe her mum on this than her.

She’s killed dozens of animals, done drugs around her kids, had her drivers license removed yet still driven, had two taken from her by social services and the older two have distanced themselves from her, she’s pimped Harvey out to make money by making him to appearances in nightclubs and many other awful things.

I remember a couple of years back she did a documentary where she wanted to start IVF to have another baby with the man she was dating at the time (who she's no longer with). She's in her late 40s and already has 5 kids ffs, none of whom she has custody of. She seems desperate to stay relevant and in the limelight and has always exposed her children to the media/used them for money and fame, pretty much from birth. I'm not a huge fan of PA either but he at least appears to be a stable, responsible parent.

I do believe that she has suffered trauma and abuse, but I also believe that she isn't a particularly good person or responsible parent. All three of those things can be true simultaneously.

Also Katie’s mum raised Harvey. Not Katie. Despite what she says.

She is so fame hungry that she would be willing to take over her daughter’s show. Appalling. Most people want their kids to shine. Katie sees it as an opportunity to revive her stalled career.

it was obvious from the start that Katie wanted to do a double act with her daughter. I bet she would have supported Princess going on Only Fans but Andre would put his foot firmly down. Good.

She's been on tv since she was a baby she's tol well known to get an ordinary job ,I have no idea if she is academic so university may or may not becout of the question so yes I imagine she will go down the z list celebrity route like a lot of " celebrities " kids

I think they are both awful and it’s a wonderful fact of nature that children are born with their own personalities as Princess and Junior seem sweet ! Glad they have each other …

She's not academic. She opened her exam results on camera (TikTok?). She was (is?) enrolled at Beauty College but now appears to be going down the TV fame route.

The clips are misleading. In the full programme KP is offensive and goading. She is in a bad mood and he tries to get her out of it but ends up getting into a bad mood himself. He comes across as having had some kind of mental breakdown and she seems to know his weak spots and twists the knife in bringing him to the brink of breakdown. She is not ok.

It’s a shame people (including me - because I read the media, and am commenting here, so … ) waste precious oxygen on these malingering wastes of space. There are a million other hugely talented people who deserve our attention. Why are we frotting over this moral vacuum of a family who measure their self worth in clicks and likes? It’s obscene.

Bankruptcy, farming disabled children out, multiple divorces, stupid dangerous plastic surgery in cheapie locstions, kids who have been exposed to the media from being little without their consent, dead pets, horrible reality tv shows … just grim.

I used to watch this all the time back in the day, cannot remember him being mean to her, but it was KP constantly taking the pee out of him.

100% this! She was constantly winding him up or putting him down. In a way of ‘jokey banter’ to soften the mean comments. Do not get your info from 20 second clips of a whole series - I watched all of them, and she was definitely worse, he really loved her at the time

Ps to all those saying the older two seem well turned out. Yes they do : because A.) they went to private school. That's going to have a magnitudous impact. Their fellow students will be mostly from very educated and affluent families.

2. their father is stable. Their step mother is a doctor (therefore well educated and principled)

I doubt any of their positive characteristics can be in any way attributed to KP. She knows it too.

Having her youngest children put into care doesn't seem to affected how she conducts her life in any way at all. Those poor little children, they deserved so much better.

I remember a video of KP tottering about (?under the influence of something) parading tutu's and bras whilst Bunny sat on the floor sobbing into her hands looking lonely and distressed.

@susiedaisy1912 when did u watch them? Only asking as I watched them when originally aired and I thought she was horrid to him, really mean and rude. A few years ago I watched a few clips and honestly couldn’t believe that I felt she was the one in the wrong. In all honesty they both were but as an adult I certainly viewed Peter very differently. I do believe they were just toxic for one another.

FFS, what do either of the kids have to offer? Why do they think they can/should be famous?

The best thing they could do is to get a job and actually work hard at something. They both sound entitled - and with very little reason indeed.

She was often bored and understimulated (the whole marriage/kids normality I reckon ) she only gets married to do the whole "dress up" game. (She actually admitted that once in so many words ) Anyway I digress....

So when she's bored and not getting the constant attention she craves she starts winding up Pete and getting nasty, and would wind him up and goad him until he turned on her (which is exactly what she wanted) any attention is good attention.

I think she started getting like that once the kids came along. Because they took his attention off of her and she still wanted him wagging his tail and panting looking up at her "beauty". Classic narcissist.

Exactly. She used to say stuff like that he had a small penis. He was pretty restrained. She was very verbally abusive and would try to wind him up. I can’t believe people are saying he’s the bad guy. Thank fuck the oldest kids have one good parent and a step parent.

I honestly think the saddest part about this story is that both KP and PA know how difficult it can be living as a celebrity and the constant scrutiny that comes with it and still both of them not only foisted their joint kids into the limelight since birth but don’t appear to have wanted a more carefree life going forward for them (Princess and Junior?). They’re both so desperate to remain relevant they’re probably more than happy their daughter has her own reality show and will no doubt have to put up with all sorts of utter shit from both the press and garden variety creeps sending creepy DMs.

I can sort of see it from both sides.

The kids have had years of their mother’s antics - drugs, car/crash relationships, pursuing fame at any cost etc, It’s natural they might want to distance themselves from her as they become young adults, both emotionally and to protect their own reputations/careers. And Peter and his wife do seem a bit more stable and chill, so it’s natural the kids might want to spend more time with them and frankly, be less enbarrrassed of them than their mother,

On the other hand, Pete is a smug git and is still managed by the horrific, money-grabbing Carby Claire who he is clearly now pimping his kids out with. Whats the bet he’s taking a percentage of their earnings? He’s not the angel he makes himself out to be. I can understand why Katie - as bonkers as she is - would be enraged by his butter wouldn’t melt act.

Mostly, though, I think it’s a shame both parents haven’t used the wealth and influence they have had over the years to give their children a better future than some desperate reality TV grift.
