If Katie Price was a poor council estate mom, she wouldn’t have any of her children due to her “risky lifestyle”. She is a poor excuse for a parent.

Peter has always kept his mouth shut about their relationship. Princess and Jr are the way they are because of their dad and the stability that HIS family has given them.

They are also old enough now to see their mothers toxic and narcissistic personality, so I’m not surprised that they are being this way during the current conflict between their parents.

why wouldn’t you encourage your 18 year old children to get a job and pay their own way? If they were not famous, you would still want them to do those things? Whether it’s a “tv programme” or a job in a bank; work is work.

Okay, sure. I think encouraging a young girl into reality tv and influencing is a really terrible thing to do to your child and it’s not comparable to another job, but let’s agree to disagree because honestly I don’t care enough about these wankers to keep having this conversation.

I wouldn't judge my daughters choice. I would give their relationship a chance. Not sure why it matters that she had just finished medical school. What does that have to do with anything.

She fucked off on holiday more often than she had hot dinners, leaving him in the care of god knows who - this was back when Harvey was living at home. Anyone who has a severely autistic child knows that consistency and familiar people are important. Predictability is important too - autistic kids often really struggle with unpredictable situations. Not knowing if your mum was going to be at home next week, or what bloke she might have with her, must have had an effect on Harvey.

She absolutely used Harvey as currency to prop up her own PR.

As a mum to two autistic DC myself, one with high needs, KP did so very little compared to all of the other SEN parents I know. She was ill-informed and centred herself in everything.

On a more personal note, I really wanted more children. Desperately. The DC's dad disappeared when I was pregnant and for the last 15 years I've been with a decent and lovely man. My DC are twins. We realised that actually, it wasn't fair to bring another baby into the house - not fair on my existing DC and not fair on the baby. We gave up on our dream of having a baby, because parenting children with high needs is hard work, and when your child is never going to live independently, there's no let up.

KP has never put her children first. Not even Harvey.

I was ambivalent about PA, still am. But he has held his silence for many years while KP talked absolute shit about him, he never confirmed the rumours that Princess and Junior had been removed from her care. He could have blasted her many years previously, but he didn't. He put the kids first. Whatever you think of him as a person, he seems to be a genuine family man who is looking out for his children in the face of unbelievable provocation.

Also, as an autistic woman who also has ADHD (and someone who was abused as a child and then raped as an adult) myself, I find it so insulting that people try to pin KP's disgusting behaviour on her neurodivergence, or her history. Absolutely no fucking excuse.

That video of the kids not having any food on Christmas Day broke me. I don't understand how anyone is defending KP.

And jobs in TV and music are like gold dust so why wouldn’t they capitalise on their opportunities. You could say they have been working in the media from the minute they were born. It’s quite amusing to see the kids just getting on with things while their parents “feud”. I guess this is how they managed through their lives. They seem all right.

I wonder why KP can’t leave PA alone? She seems to want to drag him into the gutter with her and can’t stand the fact that he is married, in a nice house and solvent. Not only that but her kids may end up quite wealthy in their own right. She keeps threatening to spill the beans on him but hasn’t got any beans to spill. She has finally pushed him too far and the gloves are off. He is going to spill the beans once and for all. It won’t be nice for the families (and the poor kids) but the rest of us have got the popcorn ready.

I agree that PA is fame-hungry, but I'm not sure about judging him too harshly for what the kids do.

Junior and Princess have two parents both in show business. They've seen it up close for many years, it's what they know. And bear in mind that although PA may have had custody, KP still had access to the children, and therefore influence.

I vaguely remember some posts years ago with Princess and being shocked that a young girl seemed to be sexualised by her mum (they were joint posts with KP IIRC).

If Junior and Princess want to go into show business because they've seen it's possible to make ££££ and they don't have any other obvious skills/talents, then I don't think PA could stop them if he wanted to.

I saw a quote the other day saying that Princess doesn't want to do Love Island or any of those kinds of shows, and I hope that's true. There are plenty of teen girls her age who would kill to be influencers or celebrities, I don't think she's any different - she just has the opportunities.

She was 21 when she first met him and 23 when they got together, very young to settle down with multiple step kids and a complex blended family virtually straight out of full time education imho.

I think my issue with it is they were already primed - he agreed to her being on tv and in the spotlight from a young age. His current wife won’t accept that for their two kids so he can’t. He made that choice for Princess and his son, it’s on him as well as Katie that they’ve been exposed since they were very small. So whilst he can’t stop the decisions she makes now, he has been part of the problem leading to this point. And it’s two fold - on the one hand his fake shock at the fact she is getting disgusting messages which he absolutely knew she will have been getting since she was much, much younger, and the fact that if she doesn’t ’make It’ the. It’s public humiliation. I think she will have a comfortable z list career like both her parents, but if she didn’t do that he’s set her up for that embarrassment. He has filmed her private moments and put them up for all the world to see and now this. So I do judge him harshly. I judge any parent who exposes their kids like this harshly to be honest.

She shouldn’t need her head screwed on or to shoulder that so young is what I’m saying. I’m sure she’s great. I wonder if there’s tension that her kids with him are out of the limelight while he’s very complicit in putting his in it. Once their shared kids get older there might be some differences in opinion that are tricky to bridge there.
