Off work until September, want to disconnect from the world

Really feeling more and more that i’m sick of social media and even just being contacted/attached to things, just want a break

Daily, I use email, Fb, IG, Whatsapp & Mn
i’m in lots of groups for Whatsapp and really want a break from these, but I need to keep it to communicate with my parents and friends

Emails, i’m worried not to check because of bills etc, but really want to disconnect from that too

I’m happy to still be on here, but want to have a total break from Fb and IG, can I disconnect my accounts but not lose everything and get back on easily?

Has anyone else done this and/or have a real yearning to do it?

Did/do you feel better?

Just delete the app from your phone then reinstall and log back in when your ready!

You could just get someone to change your password for you? Then give it back when you are ready. Or I recommend the Opal app which blocks whatever apps or websites you choose for the time you set so that you stop that mindless checking.

You can just stop checking the social media accounts and then change your settings in WhatsApp/ email. Mute all group chats and people you don’t want to hear from. Check in on emails once a week, and only read the ones you want to.

Will I not lose photos etc? Dont even think I know my passwords to log back in 🙈
