To only enjoy watching films with DH?

I have no idea why I’m like this but I only enjoy films with dh. If I watched the same thing alone, I don’t enjoy it but I really enjoy a film with dh if it’s good. Is anyone else like this or is there a reason I get bored watching a good film alone?

Im very much the opposite op i like and enjoy a movie/ film /series on my own.

A good film is a good film. It shouldn’t matter if you’re alone or with someone.

It's a bit odd to be honest. If the film is good it's good whether your DH is there or not, likewise if it's shit it won't magically be better just because your DH is there.

It may be a good film but as with anything else ithe experience can be enhanced by being alone or with someone else

Unless it's something that really appeals to me (eg a Jane Austen or similar) then I'm the same as you.
Can't be bothered watching films on my own, but enjoy them with DH.

I understand, I don't like watching TV or films on my own. I see it as a social activity and just get bored on my own, which is strange because I don't get bored reading or whatever else on my own, but just watching something doesn't hold my attention.
Do you talk through them? I do so don't like watching with people who like silence either.

I like watching TV with company especially DD. DH likes different things to me.
