Thank you cards

I have left my job this week. I had a good send off in terms of gifts & a card. It was very unexpected & generous. I thanked everyone when it was presented to me and I also thanked all users by email. Would I be ott if I sent a thank you card in the post after thanking everyone verbally & by email?

You’ve said thank you. That’s the important bit, not by which medium it was delivered. I don’t think you need to say it again

You’ve said thank you twice, that’s plenty. As much as I’m sure they liked you, workplaces tend to move on quickly when someone leaves so they won’t be expecting a thank you card and I do think it’ll seem a bit much.

When I’ve left companies, I’ve just said thanks on the day. Then I just kept in touch with anyone that I wanted to.
