Swimming trunks in France.

posting for traffic. I’m going to France soon with my family and wondering about swimming trunks for my husband. We are staying in a Euro camp and I have read men need speedo type swim wear. Does anyone know if the ones in the picture will be acceptable?
** disclaimer - not my husband in the photo 🤣

They look like they would be acceptable in France. What they don't allow, in swimming pools, are sport shorts or ones that are more often worn outdoors.

They'll be OK. The rule is so it's obvious if people are wearing shorts that they have worn outside the pool.

Yes. They’ll be fine. He won’t need them on the beach but lots of swimming pools do require them.

tattychicken · 03/08/2025 20:34

Yes fine.
