We put out two bins - mixed recycling red bin (card and plastic) and garden waste (brown bin).
The garden waste truck comes at 7am and operative opens the bin, checks the contents and leaves it open. This is a: weird and b: annoying as if it’s full or windy the contents get strewn around the road. This has happened twice and to our neighbours as well. The first time they did it was slightly over full and the lid was 2cm from closing fully and assumed this was the reason.
Today they put a plastic wrapper in the bin contaminating the contents but that a side issue.
Is this a thing? Why do they keep opening the bin is it a sign to the red bin people?
