Paid £200 to mechanic , two weeks later the problem is back

The window on my car has been faulty for a while, eventually it stopped coming down completely and due to the hot weather we’ve been having I decided to get it fixed. Took to a local auto electrician / mechanic who charged me £200 for parts and labour , to remove the old door wiring and replace with new.
For the first week it worked fine , now less than two weeks later , it’s no longer working again.
The guy showed me the old wiring he removed and the new one he replaced it with. So I just don’t understand. I’m pressing the window switch and nothing is happening. Not showing any movement up or down.

Am I within my rights to contact the mechanic and tell him what’s happened and ask for him to look again for free? I would expect a £200 fix to last longer than just two weeks?

Of course! We had something fixed recently and the problem returned. I rang and explained and they fixed it again for free.
