Perimenopause- when to see GP?

I used to have a very regular cycle, but age 43 its getting a bit more variable. Usually 25-29 days. But this time I've had all the usual PMT symptoms on time but no period. Impossible to be pregnant and I'm on day 37 which is far longer than ever before (I track on my fitbit). Its like I'm stuck in perpetual PMT - a bit grumpy, some mild cramping and sore joints.

I assume this is perimenopause, but as I got my periods quite late I wasn't expecting it this soon. Do I just ignore it and see what happens for a few months? I'm confused at what stage you need to see a GP to discuss if things like HRT are needed... or for that matter if something else entirely might be going on. Curious what others found best.

I've not been the doctors yet, as apart from a fucked up cycle and the odd hot flush, I generally feel okay.
