Local Facebook page flooded with aggressive men

Is this a thing everywhere? We have a Facebook page for our town. All sorts of things get posted on there, as you can imagine. Without fail, each post will elicit responses from men that are condescending, misogynistic or aggressive. Every single time. Even if the issue in question has nothing to do with them. For example, I posted something this morning about my particular area of the town. Plenty of men chipped in with aggressive opinions, even though they didn’t live in this area of the town or have any skin in the game.

Are they not bots? I've seen a proper increase in them lately.

Kind of. I’m in a few groups - couple for my immediate development and a couple for the bigger areas. I don’t see it so much for the development, but certainly in the wider town groups - there’s always someone putting someone else down / looking for an argument.

Yes! I have the same! One of them is clearly on steroids and owns a window cleaning business so shouldn’t be actively showing people what a cunt he is. There’s 3 men who are quick to comment something negative for the sake of it. Nightmare.

Yes and some are even real people by all accounts. But I think reform are getting better at pretending to be women.

In my local FB group one guy has decided it's his personal soap box, every day he shares his opinion, usually on asylum seekers. Most people tell him to give it a rest and then he invokes 'freedom of speech'. Thats nice dear but I'm trying to figure out whose car alarm is going off right now.

Yes so many twat men spouting shit comments on social media, particularly in Facebook groups it seems.

People seem angry in general (see the uncalled for nasty responses on here to benign posts), both sexes are at it, but men have definitely upped the ante with their aggressiveness lately.

Is he a real.person? This identical thing is happening across the country. I've seen it. It's aggressive reform / right wing campaigning. It's horrible stuff. Why not a group of you object vocally and get this off your local site. It won't go away if you try to ignore.
