I lost someone close in horrible circumstances very recently.

A friend who knows reached out which was kind - but then said they’d had a really tough week as they had witnessed a stranger slip and fall in front of them and badly hurt themself.

I get that’s horrible but also it feels a bit attention seeking! And honestly If that’s what they count as a horrible week I just can’t engage right now. Said friend does have a bit of a habit of hijacking other peoples traumas and can be a slight grief vulture

I am so sorry for your loss.

I think there comes a time in life when we all start reevaluating our friendships. I've ended a couple lately, one more I am hoping will recover but I am not chasing and I've made several new friends.

Thanks so much. I completely agree. Why did you end them?

I don’t know if I want to disengage but how tone deaf! I feel so angry!

One judged me for talking to an ex, not leaving when my husband had an affair and for eating two biscuits and having one glass of wine.

The other for saying very judgy and untrue things then later for being unbelievably cruel.
