My county run a fun with food summer hoilday programme.
its always provided a meal like lunch or breakfast for the kids hence the “fun with food”.
My kids have done a few things this week and theyve all provided food. done them the other years - all provided food. Great!

Done one today to get a upset phone call off my dc saying I forgot to give him lunch.
At no point on the booking site did it say to bring a lunch, at no point when I signed him in did they say he needed a lunch! just quickly put together a lunch and dropped it off to him but I feel terrible.

aibu to be pissed off that it wasnt made clear?

I don't think you can assume they will provide lunch if they haven't explicitly stated that. Did they ask for dietary requirements (not just allergies) at any point? I understand why you made that assumption given all the other clubs you've used have provided food but this is not the norm in my experience. I've never known a holiday club provide food and would always send a packed lunch.

I wouldn’t assume lunch was provided unless it said otherwise.
