there is sooooo much of it on the market! Some of it is reasonably priced and some is just ridiculously expensive.
I would love a bit of guidance and recommendations of products you use and really see a difference. I’m 50 and have good skin but a lot of pigmentation and a bit of sagging. I am looking to up my game a bit so any tips with Korean skincare products wouid be appreciated.

Sunday Riley has an excellent lactic acid which is fantastic for pigmentation. I get mine from America as they have a stronger acid there.

As for Korean Skincare I’ve only used Cosrx Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence but I like it for an extra bit of hydration.

I’ve seen cosrx and it’s good to know it’s hydrating as my skin needs more hydration. I will check that out! Thank you

They are big in using masks. I find their way has too many steps and products but if you stick with it, you'll have great skin but it is an expensive routine.

Curel mist is brilliant. Haruharu Wonder products are fab and decently priced: I love their cleansing by balm and their black rice toner. Beauty of Joseon: Relief Sun Rice for SPF, Dynasty Cream moisturiser and their Revive Eye Serum with ginseng and retinal are wonderful.

I have lots of Korean skincare and it’s good primarily because it’s so focused on hydration and the skin barrier. A lot of the expensive selective brands we know combine actives with moisturiser, whereas the K beauty approach is more to separate out the steps so your moisturiser is just about hydration, and then you use the actives you need according to what you need at the time.

The other one I swear by is the Erborian CC red Correct, which is just superb and sorting out redness and can be used in place of something like tinted moisturiser.

I’m mid-fifties and told I look late thirties, and it’s the K beauty stuff that’s helped me get my skin back to something sensible since peri hit and turned it tipsy turvy.
