Does your ahdh child mask?

Or did you find the school underplayed some severe issues as low scores on questionnaires?

One DC masks in school, so much so they didn't believe me at first when I described the behaviours at home and refused to help. They are seeing it more now though, and therefore scored sufficiently to get a diagnosis. Schools have not really caught up about how girls present with ADHD as my other DC who is a boy they were the ones pushing for a diagnosis as he is stereotypical on presentation for ADHD.

Yes certainly girls do seem to be missed.

And we are being pushed that all issues are asd

We get a lot of impulsive behaviour but school still cant link it as adhd probably because it is a girl.
But even if not i would say clearly fits inattentive anyway.
As spends all lessons doodling, never finishes any work, avoids concentrating,
