On a short city hopper flight earlier, minding my own business. I was sat in the aisle seat, and a man came to sit next to me with his daughter. She went into the window seat, and he was in the middle. I had my AirPods in and was playing a game on my phone. He tapped to on the shoulder and asked when I was going to stop playing the game because it was irritating him. I was a bit shocked and actually immediately thought ‘fuck you’ but I said ‘maybe in half an hour’. God knows where those words of mine came from - but should I just have stopped playing the game and sat looking into the distance?
