To feel a bit sorry for Josh Howie?

His agent has ditched him.
Newsliners has been cancelled.
His only employment now is Free Speech Nation on GBN. But he is not a champion of free speech. Unlike Andrew Doyle, his comedy and intelligence were never about "free speech". He made his name as a whip sharp Jewish comedian.

And I loved it.😍

Now, while he does carry on Doyle's amazing work wrt trans, he seems to have lost his way/ edge/ funniness, and even his integrity.

He's presenting a programme called Free Speech Nation, but he is not a supporter of free speech. Co-hosts Nick Dixon and Leo Kearse have called him out on this on Headliners. Lewis Schaeffer has called him out on his lack of comedy.

I used to love watching him. Knowledgeable, wry and funny as fuck. Now he comes across as desperate, dependant and diminished.

Any other Josh Howie fans feeling the same?

Well, I’ve never heard of him, so not really sure why I would feel sorry for him.

I have, though, heard of GB News and have little respect for anyone who takes money to work for them.

Perhaps, as has been said, he just isn’t funny?

He was funny. I mean really side splitting, hurtingingly, intelligently funny.

Sorry has the OP said that she did want to be removed from it somewhere? Or is that you projecting your own thoughts and feelings onto someone else? It's not for me but plenty of people obviously pay attention to GB news or it wouldn't still be going.

I'm a viewer. I'm referring to a previous thread, where the intolerant berated anybody, who watched it.

I'm a regular GBN viewer. I just recognise that it's not news.

Headliners was cancelled because it lost all its viewers when it stopped being funny. I've no idea why his agent ditched him.
