Drug dealers think ive grassed

I live with just my son, locally it is quite a bad area for drug dealing but I just keep myself to myself. I don't want any part of it. Lately someone that lives opposite me has been making comments when I walk out but I thought nothing of it until he walked by me and said do you know snitches get stitches whilst looking directly at me. I haven't done anything and now im actually petrified. I have noticed that when I go into the main bedroom they do look over at my house a lot. What should I do?

Move. Sorry that’s not helpful but I’d do everything in my power.

OneCalmFish · 20/07/2025 13:30

Agree with first post but didn’t you ask him why he was saying that? Saying nothing might have made it look like you know why

RentalWoesNotFun · 20/07/2025 13:51

Could he think your son grassed on someone? What age is he?

I honestly would love. ASAP. And be very careful when outside and aware of your surroundings.

RentalWoesNotFun · 20/07/2025 13:51

Move. Not love. Stupid autocorrect.

LaLaLandDreams · 20/07/2025 13:52

Ask him what the fuck he’s talking about and make sure he knows you don’t take any shit.

Not really realistic for most people.

I agree that I’d do everything in my power to move.

User37482 · 20/07/2025 13:55

Oh god move if you can. Even if nothing happens this place is awful.

OneCalmFish · 20/07/2025 13:58

I’m guessing even if you can move, with him living opposite you’ll bump into him soon. Might be worth saying to him, Were you talking to me the other day because I’ve no idea what you could mean? Yours and your son’s safety first, if anything harmful is said/done call police x
