Faint line on pregnancy test

Did a pregnancy test 5 days prior to period being due as I just had similar feelings same to when I was previously pregnant the my other 2 children but unsure as to whether this suggests a positive or not as never done a test so early ?!? There is a very faint half line but unsure if this is just due to dye running ? Any advise appreciated

Wait until your period is late and retest or buy one of the really expensive ones that are designed to work before a missed period

How soon did you read it? Deffo could be positive. Me and my wife used a first response 6 days early test this morning and after the time to check it there was a faint line, fainter than yours and looked in to it and could have either be a evaporation line (usually colorless) or a sign of very early pregnancy. Get an early test and test again. We’re testing tomorrow too as we tested a day early due to excitement, hope you get the result you want
