Is it just me... Am I boring?

Am I suddenly super old or have people just lost respect for neighbours now 😅 since covid I've noticed a real decline in consideration for others in most of the neighbourhoods I know, including my own... Mostly related to noise like kids playing out really late, booting balls around, walking dogs super late talking on phones at the top of their voice, beeping horns at 6am to say their lift has arrived, dogs being left to bark constantly along with crazy loud music, the list continues 😅 feel free to tell me I'm boring and it's just me but it really does feel a lot worse than I've ever known it, especially when you just want a peaceful life and you have young children who go to bed at a normal time 😅🤣

The other day my neighbour was running around outside screaming whilst playing with water pistols.

This would be great if it were with his kids and at a sensible time, but it was 9pm and with another adult 😂

I was trying to get my daughter to bed and she kept asking why it was so noisy.

It's always been like that.

I used to live in a place where the kids were extremely antisocial so I love the sound of children playing

It was never normal for kids to play out really late, everyone looked down on parents who let their kids roam around on their own past tea time. Walking dogs late is fine. Yelling on your phone is never ok and has only become a thing since mobile phones. Beeping your horn at 6am is a shitty thing to do not sure if it's more prevalent now, thankfully our neighbours are pretty good.
