To kidnap my neighbour's parcel?

I knew my neighbour was away on holiday so I took in a parcel that the delivery driver left on her doorstep. However, I myself am going on holiday too in the next few days. Should I put it back on the doorstep, or put a note through her door explaining that she'll have to wait until I get back to get her parcel?

Can you put a note through her door and give parcel to a different neighbour?

is there another neighbour you can leave it with and push a note through the parcel neighbour’s door?

Is there another neighbour or a safe dry place you could leave it? Wrap in plastic bags and hide it somewhere?

I'd do the note or pass it to another neighbour, who isn't on holiday.
