Is it normal to feel like this?

To feel a bit of uncertainty/have a bit of a wobble. I was offered a job on Friday and have officially handed my notice in today. I start the new job in September but feel a bit nervous for the future but it’s eventually going to lead to progression and better salary. Where I currently work, there is not much progression opportunity and there’s other more personal reasons for leaving, but I still feel a bit scared about it all.

I think it's normal. I've had a fair few jobs and have always felt a bit unsure when the leaving date got closer. I've never had any regrets about moving on and it was the right decision every time.

That sounds exciting! I think you're interpreting excitement as nerves. Tell us 3 good things about taking the new job and 3 bad things about your current job.

Absolutely normal feelings. It’s the unknown, but it’s also exciting & think how bright your future looks. I just got a new job a few months ago - felt the same, all good now & a great move. Good luck x 😀🍀
