SHARK - Celebrity Infested Waters -WTH!

Is it just me or do other people think that the Tv companies won’t be happy until they actually kill someone in one of these idiotic programs?

I watched this last night and it’s obvious that there is no way they can guarantee that one or more of those people won’t be seriously hurt or worse! It’s madness!

Is it a series? Because I can’t see how they can drag it out for several programmes. Should have been a one off imo.

Unfortunately not. We should be so lucky.

They won't be in any danger at all. They are never going to be in any real contact with potentially dangerous sharks! They will big up the potential dangers of what they are doing and seeing, but it will all be very, very carefully controlled and monitored.

They are in a cage, safe from the sharks.

If you watched it last night, you'll have seen them wading with lemon sharks. They looked big jumping out of the water, and swimming up to the camera. And yes, a couple of people got nibbled. But that's all. They're only a metre long at most, lots were clearly smaller. There was no danger at all. But it was made out that they could get very seriously bitten.

They are Only in a cage the first time this week, one of them has already been bitten slightly, you cannot control what sharks will do, it’s ridiculous!

Did you actually watch the program because that’s not what was said! They said by the end they’d be swimming in open water with bull sharks!

I did watch the program and I stand by what I said. It will all be very carefully controlled and monitored. They may be in open water, but they will be close to a cage. There will be loads of safety divers off screen. The sharks will be found and fed before the celebrities appear so they won't be hungry.

And while bull sharks are one of the more dangerous sharks, that doesn't make them dangerous! There are only 26 known fatalities caused by bull sharks worldwide, ever. Their reputation is much worse than the reality. So no, I dont believe the celebrities were ever in any real danger.

This programme is mad. Why are they putting themselves in such dangerous situations?!
