They say not to use Bleach/detergent ??😬. Bleach I can understand, but no detergent? Surely the leotard won't be cleaned properly after they roll about all over the floor? Any advice would be much appreciated please 🙏

Reading the care instructions I'd put it in on a gentle wash as instructed. See how it comes out.
If it's still dirty I'd put some soap powder in. I'd use powder or liquid rather than tablets/ pods then you can adjust the amount you use.

The issue seems to be the risk of the metallic coming off it.

My DD’s go in the washing machine on a 30 was wish non bio liquid then dry on the line or a radiator. They grow so quickly I’m replacing them every 6 months anyway. Her competition leotard has sequins and this is fine in the machine.

I put on a cold wash with a tiny bit of liquid non-bio. They’ve all been fine

Gosh, never thought to check a label, I wash on 30 with non bio every week 🤣

Thank you so much for your replies. Does the leotard linked in OP look like a squad leotard? My dd changed gymnastic clubs. Her previous place had an optional leotard which had the clubs branding on it which we got. It was so much easier. This place doesn't have their own leotards so I could get any. Dd would like one with crystals and would like the linked leotard but I don't want her to be ott and look like she's wearing a squad one. She's not in a squad!

The girls at my daughter’s club wear all sorts of leotards. Unless it is the same colours as the squad uniform at your daughter’s club I don’t see the issue.

I wash my daughter’s leotard on 30 with the other dark clothes and it is fine, although not all over shiny like that.
