What do you do when your child has an ehcp. And there 15 and talking about college or alternative provision once they leave school? And they really don’t no what they want to do ? Like really don’t know? Thank you

Ehcp covers them until they are 25. Ask their current provider/the council for assistance?

they are supporting but also want me and my son to choose a place but his can we choose if we don’t know where my son will be going or what he wants to do?

Careers advisor may be a good first call.

Is he just finishing year 10? There will be a lot of focus on careers and next steps in year 11. But start researching local apprenticeships and colleges to see what grabs his attention
