What’s your average screen time each day?

My phone gives me an automatic message every week with my average screen time per day. Quite curious how it compares to others.

3.5 hours

5 hours, pretty consistently. Dreadful really considering I work 3 days a week and don’t look at my phone much during those hours.

does anyone know if time spent on google maps or listening to music while driving would count?

Mine varies hugely. If I'm doom scrolling or flicking about mumsnet, or wether I am reading on my kindle app or watching sewing tutorials. Don't play any games though apart from the odd bit of poker. Anything from 1 hour to 7 if I'm reading.

Between 2 and 2.5 hours, usually. Less when on holiday!

Mine is 3 hours, that includes mals, chrckingtube/train times, telephone use, puzzles, photos, shopping, etc. I find it shocking, honestly. I used to read so many books. But so much has shifted online, messaging with DC’s teachers, etc.

phone 6-7 hours

Phone 5-6 hrs. Includes checking work as well as browsing, games etc

I have a separate work mobile that is for calling and SMS only, I spend maybe an hour on work calls each day. And of course a compute loads at work.

3-4 hours.

I just got mine today and it said 4 and a half hours to five and a half hours. That would normally be marketing/ book related but at the moment it’s mn and Fb but not sorry as life isn’t easy at the moment. I make sure the kids don’t see it though as I’m trying to keep them off screens but quite hooked for escapism at the mo
