Interested to hear what you all do out there in terms of working around kids? Hours/days etc? Also interested to hear your morning routines and how it all works out for you. Trying to weigh up some options and very in my head x

We both work full time. In the morning the oldest gets himself ready and off to school. I make breakfast and a packed lunch for the youngest, then he gets himself ready, gets his bag ready. Whilst I’m doing this my husband gets himself ready, when I’m getting ready he takes youngest to school. I think you just kind of find your routine and make it work.

My partner works full time Monday to Friday 9-5 but it's usually 7-6 (overtime). I work 3 days one week and 4 the next, part time. I do a mix of earlies and lates. My son goes to nursery once a week for 7 hours and my mum does the rest of the childcare thankfully. My shifts are quite different to partners so it fits it quite well

DP works early and I work later. I do AM getting sorted and school/nursery runs then DP does PM school/nursery runs and then sorting them out. I get home just before they go to bed to chill and read to them then settle them in bed. He doesnt particularly like his job and I'd prefer a different shift pattern but it works for us.
