Step Daughters dubious husband

I have an adult step daughter, in her 30’s and she has three (lovely) children. It’s her husband that is my issue, he has served prison time for drug dealing (not low level, street selling, we’re talking couriering millions of pounds worth of heroine) and it’s obvious from their lifestyle and his “work” that he’s still in this business. I have witnessed him first hand being rude and aggressive to a young girl serving food in a restaurant and to be honest I just don’t want him around my teenage daughter.

my step daughter doesn’t like me very much and I know that this is going to be seen as me keeping her away from her half sister. My husband agrees with me but also really doesn’t want to rock the boat.

How old is your daughter? I wouldn't want my daughter being around such a low life.So I think you have every right to limit contact.Depending on whether you still can if she's 25 bit difficult.

You've got to do what is in the best interests of your DD.
And it's good that your H agrees she shouldn't be in this man's company.
It doesnt really matter what your step daughter thinks and if she doesnt like you anyway it's not as if you are ruining a good relationship.
Of course once your DD is 18 and is an adult she can make her own mind up anout her relationship with your step daughter and her H.
