I’m day 37 of my cycle, I’m usually around 32-33 day cycles. Have never hit the 5 week mark between them etc.
I got a 2 faint positives both fmu but not really different in strength. I used the clear and simple early response as the clear blue are x10 the price…
I don’t feel pregnant I feel like I’m due to come on… what’s everyone’s opinions!??

Looks positive to me.

TMGM · 11/07/2025 12:45

I didn’t start to feel pregnant until close to the second trimester, my tummy just felt a bit crampy. Could you take one of the tests that state “pregnant” on the screen to reassure you?

stillnotTheDoctor · 11/07/2025 12:45

That’s a positive test. Do another one to be sure but that’s a definite line.

MeinKraft · 11/07/2025 12:47

Congratulations! Perfectly normal to feel like you’re going to come on when you’re newly pregnant, that can last a few weeks. Think it’s the rise in progesterone that causes it.

Olika · 11/07/2025 12:49

That’s definitely positive. Just get a digital one that says pregnant so there’s no space for guessing.

DramaAlpaca · 11/07/2025 12:49

That's definitely positive. It's normal to feel like you're going to come on, I did in all my pregnancies.

Stevie1922 · 11/07/2025 12:54

Thankyou for all the replies, I’ve got a digital in the drawer I’ll do that in the morning and get my self a doctors appointment depending. Thanks again!

I’m just worried the lines not strong enough for how late I am, I suppose people are right saying digital as then you can’t compare the line strength…

A line is a line. Doesn’t matter how strong it is. The digital ones only read a line anyway.

Stevie1922 · 11/07/2025 12:57

@stillnotTheDoctor yeah you’re right a line is a line I shouldn’t read more into it, a few miscarriages have me anxious to not believe it.

That’s a definite positive OP 👌🏻

MauraLabingi · 11/07/2025 13:00

I would get a digital weeks test OP, or a FRER if you can. Using cheaper tests isn't great if you want to look at how strong the line is, as sometimes they never get strong at all.
If you think you are four days past your missed period then I would expect "2-3 weeks" on a digi, or a decent line on a frer. If you don't get these, then either you ovulated later this cycle, or it may not be a viable pregnancy, or you may just be one of those women who don't get dark lines even with successful pregnancies. Impossible to tell unfortunately. Hopefully the digi/frer will put your mind at rest.

TheQuietestSpace · 11/07/2025 13:05

Don't worry at all about not feeling pregnant. Lots of people don't.

I do think the line could do with being a little darker for your gestation, though, but the cheaper tests often take longer to go properly dark - is it a cheapie? My IVF clinic test they gave out was an absolute squinter comparatively to the FRERs I'd been doing and I panicked! But was just a cheap test. Although more importantly than the line darkness is the progression. If you take a test every 48 hours, you should see it darkening.

Wishing you all the best!

Stevie1922 · 11/07/2025 13:29

@MauraLabingi thank you I will go buy a first response and others tonight and do them in the morning and post my results.
theyve all be cheapies as I wasn’t conviced to spend the money if I’m honest but I will to put my mind at rest

@TheQuietestSpace thankyou it is a cheapies it was a 10mui one and I think I also expected it to be darker, in the morning will be 48hrs from the original test I posted so I’ll use same brand to compare yet get a digital to see it in writing. I have a clear and simple digital I feel like I need to buy an expensive one now tho

Early pregnancy symptoms do feel like premenstrual symptoms! Congratulations, that is definitely a line! Wishing you lots of luck.

Lackinginspiration1 · 11/07/2025 14:14

I make these types of test - it’s definitely positive, and the digital ones are less sensitive so wouldn’t bother with those. The blue latex are prone to false positives but red (gold particles) are trustworthy.
