To think this isn't normal for amtico flooring?

I know IABU for posting here but I'm going out of my mind with these floors. They always look filthy. I have no idea what these marks are and where they're coming from.

We don't wear shoes inside. I spent hours with a scourer getting these marks off last week and they all reappeared shortly after. We've had the flooring for about a year now.

We had amtico in a previous house with no issues. Could it be the glue?

Has anyone else experienced this? I've tried absolutely everything and I'm getting so frustrated.

It’s tiny little marks, the floor doesn’t look filthy at all.

It might be that the pictures don't do it justice, but please believe me when I say, the floors look terrible. These marks are across every floor in our house and look terrible. It's not concentrated to a single area, they're everywhere and look very bad!

If you think it’s sticky glue residue have you tried baby oil and a microfibre cloth? It will remove glue residue and not damage the floor.

Yes I've tried this and lots of other things from Amazon that are meant to easily remove glue. Nothing works 🙁

I’d say it’s glue too. We have Amtico v similar but it doesn’t look like that. There were some glue marks in the corners after fitting. Think DH removed with white spirit.
I’d contact whoever fitted it and ask them to come out to sort it. Amtico also sell their own cleaning products.

Could it be teeny tiny tears/breaks in the top layer and water getting underneath during washing lifting the top layer causing the marks? If it’s mainly close to joins in the flooring I would say it might have been caused by the fitters tools.

We bought lots of Amtico's own glue remover and it gets it off with a bit of elbow grease, but the marks keep reappearing. It's honestly such a pain in the backside.

Will definitely be on to the fitter.

Must be sticky residue attracting dust. Get some sticky stuff remover.

By top layer, I mean the protective film/coating the manufacturer putting on the flooring during production.
