If you owe 5k on your credit card and pay off 2k how long does it take to show you owe 3k on your credit card?

Most credit card companies send credit report updates on a monthly basis

When does your credit report get updated? It will show on the next one unless you pay it too close to the update, in which case the following month

Thanks I think end of the month but not 100% sure.

I want to move my debt to a 0% deal so waa wondering if I could do that now as credit card company will do a dynamic search that will show the 2k payment as 0% deal ends before 30th of the month
