To add this qualification to my CV?

It's a bit of an odd one.

Years ago I started a new job with a company. They asked if I wanted to do a level 3 NVQ. Which I agreed to do with a couple of others in my team.
I worked and alongside I would have a NVQ assessor come in on some days to do my qualification. I never did any of it at home. It wasn't an apprenticeship either.
I was near the end and due to go on maternity leave soon so they helped me rush to get it all done before I went to have my baby. Told verbally it was all completed. I also passed the Maths and English exams I had to do within the course. I'll have my certificate when I get back.
Great!
Except! I got back from mat leave and asked my manager about my certificate, if he had had it yet. And no one had it, so he went to enquire about it.
The NVQ assessor while I was away had got fired and it created an audit.
No certificate ever turned up.

I left the company years later, the manager is no longer there and neither is the building I worked in. It went during COVID.

So now I'm looking to get back into work after a a few years raising my children.

Could I put I had done this NVQ level 3 qualification or not? I don't want to be seen as fraud however I did complete it, I just don't have the evidence.
I have no idea who the board was either.

What's your thoughts? Thanks.

Whenever you go for an interview they will ask for proof of that qualification.

That has never happened to me before. In any of the jobs I have applied to.

It should be on your public learning record, which you could ask to see by emailing the Dept for Education.

I think that the HR function might well have a record of the training provider used to deliver the qualification? Email the company and ask.

It’s probably best to get the certificate if you can but in the meantime you could always list the qualification as something that you undertook but write ‘Not accredited’ in brackets afterwards.

Thanks, I will try that.
