AIBU to be this excited?

I've booked a little caravan holiday for 4 nights in the first week of the holidays just me & my girls (6 year old twins) DH is busy with work and has limited holidays.

I'm so blooming excited for it - I really don't know why either as it could go badly wrong 😂

anyone else otherwise happily married love holidays without their DH?

I like holidays without DP, but I LOVE caravan holidays with small children, so I'd be just as excited as you about that. Coffee in a deckchair watching them play, buckets and spades and fish and chips. Then all cosy in the tiny beds at night. Rain on the roof and my cup runneth over. Actually, now I think about it, their dad never really got it and would go round less than enthusiastically, so it would have been better without him with hindsight. Have a fabulous time.

Thank you!! I'm so unbelievably excited about it, we do things to our own schedule. We're not on the coast but I'm planning on visiting Malham to visit Janets Foss waterfall - if it's not dried up that is 😂me and DH used to go all the time before we had kids, it will be too much for them to go up the cove but I think they'll manage to the waterfalls.

Then snuggling up at night all on the sofa together watching a film. Bliss
