I just bought myself perfume for the first time in 7/8 years

Is that weird?

I always had a summer perfume (certain ones can remind of holidays/times in my life) and a winter one (also reminds me of certain times.

I’m not massively girly (not sure how to put it!) i do my own nails, rarely wear much make up these days, simple trim/cut at hairdressers. Buying it though, even though such a small thing, makes me feel happy and reminds me of the person I used to be before I had my Dd. Sounds dramatic probably! Its reminded me how important it is to do things for yourself/to look after yourself, i’m not sure why that happened when I had Dd 7 years ago

Anyway, I bought this and it feels like a little bit of luxury !

I find the clean reserve line v subtle
&other stories blank pages is another good skin scent and the molecule perfumes

my colleague can’t stand any perfume but I had on molecule 01 and she came over to ask what it was as it didn’t give her a headache

It was down from around €110 to €66, not in Boots, i’m not in the uk

Tell me - is it a suncreamy hot beachy sort of smell ? I'm looking for one like that.

Excellent choice! Such a lovely smell and has that holiday vibe to it.

I went into John Lewis today and had a quick sniff of bronze goddess.. it's a lovely, creamy & balmy coconut and vanilla scent - very 'holidays in the sun' smell, but classy with it. It's sweet, but balanced with some exotic flowers and powdery and woody undertones. You're going to smell delicious all summer!

Mind you, in a few months you will be needing to pick out a new autumn/winter scent 😁

I knew I'd got mixed up. They didn't have any Bronze Goddess but I had a squirt of knowing on one hand and Beautiful on the other. Beautiful was better imo, but half the joy of scent is that it smells differently on different people.

One of the Guerlain ones that is raved about, smells like Harpic on me.

On the look out now for Bronze Goddess.
