Back pain at 2 weeks pregnant

Hi everyone

I am finally pregnant again after an ectopic rupture.
I am very early 2-3 weeks and I'm having the worst back lower pain. I also had this before my ectopic and now I'm terrified it's happening again. Is lower back pain normal? It's a burning/aching feeling? I am terrified I am going to loose another baby/tube.

Thank you xx

I’ll be honest. I’ve had horrendous back pain with a successful pregnancy and horrendous back and belly pain with a missed miscarriage. I think you should speak to triage at your maternity unit if you are worried just in case xx good luck OP

I didn't even know being 2 weeks pregnant was a thing? Did you conceive like yesterday or something?

I realise you are extremely nervous with previous history, I've been there myself so I do understand.

But I think currently you need to relax and pretend like there is nothing. Wait, test properly in a few weeks. Nobody can say at this stage.

4 weeks pregnant is the date of your period so 2 weeks pregnant is impossible surely? Or do you mean you're 6 or 7 weeks pregnant e.g. 2 or 3 weeks past period date?

Regardless, if a pregnancy is meant to be, it will be. You need to let nature be nature and try not to worry, as that won't help.

I got back ache and cramping with DS1 and thought it was period pain as it was due. Turns out it was a pregnancy.

If you’ve got a positive pregnancy test and you’re getting lots of pain, especially with a history of ectopic pregnancy, you probably need to give the early pregnancy unit a ring. Hopefully it’s nothing, but definitely worth getting checked out.
