Kitchen fitter storing his tools in new carcasses

I’m currently having a new kitchen fitted and I’m finding the whole experience very stressful. One of my main gripes is that the kitchen fitter stores his tools etc inside the new kitchen carcasses and kitchen drawers. There are a fair few scratches are evident and I feel these could have been prevented. Is this standard or am I being too fussy? I’ve waited 16 years for this and paid a lot of money and I feel the fitter is being disrespectful.

Tell him!

Steve, you’ve scratched all the inside of this cupboard and this drawer so you’ll need to replace them. Please don’t use my brand new kitchen for storing your tools.
