Anyone else’s DH a pig behind the wheel?

He’s like a different man. If it’s not getting annoyed at other drivers, it’s making inappropriate comments.

Today’s example - we are driving down a busy high street, pedestrians are waiting to cross but DH carries on as is his right. Pretty looking woman comes into sight and DH slows to let her cross. I jokingly say ‘it’s funny how she’s the one you let cross’ and he replies ‘I wanted to see if the standard of arse matched her face’. I called him a dirty tosser and he said he was ‘bantering’(!)

Am I the only one saddled with such a knob behind the wheel?!

Bantering? Do you let him away with this disgusting sexist rubbish because he says he's bantering?
Why are you with a man who talks about women like that?

Knob. Take him to task on it and tell him it's not on.

Occasionally I think my DH drives a little too fast so I tell him to slow down to the speed limit and he does. That's it. He's never made a comment like that in his life nor would I put up with it.

Yeuch. What a turn off.

My H turns into victor meldrew on steroids when driving - if he’s not moaning about everyone else’s standard of driving it’s usually calling people things like ‘a stupid cow’ - ( within the car not to their face. As you say it brings out his inner arsehole

I don't think he's just a pig behind the wheel. He's just a pig.

Those comments aren't banter, they are offensive
