Banana throwing!

Got a letter home today from ds school. He has been in trouble for throwing a banana at a fellow pupil marking his blazer! The mother has complained and demanded a written apology to herself and her son!!

Ds has been put on a 2 day detention, given lines, and been reprimanded for not playing sensibly. The other boy, is a friend, they are in the same class, and as far as I can tell they have not fallen out, just being boys!!

Am I being unreasonable to think, this is all a do about nothing??

my ds was told off a couple of weeks ago for .............................................................................................. covering a worm with some leaves and sticks because he thought it was too hot!

???? oh thats ridiculous, what the hell is happening, we chopped worms up at school to see them turn into 2 worms, and that was for science. I think things are getting crazy, good sense has left and idiotic scaremongering has replaced it. Actually ds got told off once before for using an apple as a football in the yard, was destroying school property apparently, had fallen from the tree.

Beginning to think ds has an anger issue with fruit??

I think it's the schools with the problems. They don't appear to be able to allow children to be children. I have been to see some that want bright zombies that never misbehave or have have spark. It's depressing. I'm moving him to a school where he can dig for worms and climb trees.

I am going to have a quiet word with the yr head. As for the other mummy she obviously a little crazy, unless she is a ball breaker and the kid saved himself by talkin up the incident so she vented at someone else.
