Re watching Frozen with the kids and I can't help but think that knowing Hans is (spoiler) a total dick kinda ruins it a little? I imagine it's a bit like watching Sixth Sense a lot.

Not at all, it’s not the main plot.

Personally I generally prefer films/books etc a second (or third or forth!) time. Of course there is something special about finding out a twist, but I also enjoy watching with no tension of guessing what's going to happen and really appreciating the details of the film.
I'm not as bad as my mum though who famously can't read a whole book in the correct order - by about half way in she just can't stop herself reading the ending because not knowing makes her too tense to concentrate on it otherwise! (and I'm not talking about thriller or horror books or things like that - she'd do it with Jilly Cooper 😁😁)

Haha bless her, I used to when I was younger but I like the tension now. Perhaps that's why I'm sad about Frozen c- there's no tension over the potential love triangle cos you know he's a git and you can't even tell the poor girl!!

Was also reflecting on the terrible parenting that caused all that chaos! Telling her to lock it all instead of dealing with it and then swanning off ABROAD for a jolly leaving two isolated teens, both emotionally vulnerable, to a handful of staff.
