I love the time of the year cold dark awful weather love it.
Im off to tokyo in december for a week then straight over to japan then pop off to thailand for the new year moon party.
Then home again for a while then off again to india in feb.

I can't bloody wait for Christmas! I love it. I've already got a few ideas in mind for presents and I'll probably buy them in August so that I can then spend the rest of the time planning the food and the drink! We went out for dinner last year on Christmas Day and that was lovely, so might do that again, not sure yet though.
I love the whole preparation leading up to Christmas Eve -seeing all the food and drink ideas in the shop, hearing Shakin' Stevens and Wham! playing, then Abba on New Year's Eve!

We’re going out for Christmas dinner this year because it will make it all feel like less of a massive slog if I don’t have to make Christmas dinner on top of thinking about everything else. Might make Christmas more bearable this year. 😄🎄 Ho Ho Ho

I was apprehensive about going out last year - we've never done it before. But, it was so lovely not having to spend the morning cooking and then being able to walk away without doing the washing up on Christmas Day!
Mind you, I still cooked a full-on Christmas dinner on Boxing Day (because, clearly I am mad!), it was just more chilled out!

My first Christmas presents arrived yesterday 😁 Some little stocking fillers for the children. In my excitement, I tried to read a Christmas themed novel to my son last night but he wasn’t having any of it 😂😂
