Hi everyone!
I just adopted a new kitten yesterday—she's about 9 weeks old, and we're both figuring things out together. I already have a self-cleaning litter box that I bought two years ago for my other cat, who was an adult when I adopted him. He already knew how to use a litter box, so I never had to teach him anything. Now with this little one, I’m not sure where to start. I’ve never had to litter-train a kitten before, and I’m wondering:Is a smart self-cleaning litter box okay for such a young kitten? Or would it be better to start with a traditional box and upgrade later?
She’s still settling into her new home, and I don’t want to scare her every time she goes potty.
