I asked to be referred to neuro and neuro physio due to my hip and I keep falling over , losing my balance . and I haven’t seen a specialist in over 30 years
I couldn’t walk till I was 7!!

They said why? I said I wanted answers and I’m falling a lot. Etc etc

They said they don’t think I need to see anyone

😞

I just thought having a life long disability, you could still be referred to places and have a point of

Contact but guess not

I doubt i could

Afford to go private 😑🥹

Ask to see an ot to help you to cope with daily living given your disability. They are do good. Bd really practical with loads of useful ideas.

Who's they? Your GP? You can ask to see a different GP if you don't feel that you have been taken seriously. Have you managed all your adult life without any specialist support? Perhaps you need to explain to the GP that you feel your needs have changed and you need more support at this time. You can contact and organisation like http://www.cerebralpalsy.org.uk/
for more information and advice.
