I know not a lot of people can answer this because you don’t know my financial circumstances but atm I only work 10 hours. Week and pick up about 180/200 a nomth
I have been offered a 2nd job self employed but guaranteed money.!!!
So how do I pay tax if I was to accept it? Is it worth getting a 2nd job getting more money ? Thankyou

You'd be responsible for paying your own tax, pension contributions and so on.

Every financial year you would have to do a Self Assessment.

Unless you are going to be earning more than the personal allowance of £12k a year you should be fine.

Would it affect my housing benefit etc too please

Think you just need to tell HMRC and they’ll give a different code for your 2nd job.

IMO of course it’s worth getting a 2nd job as presumably it improves your standard of living by having more take home pay?

I don't know the rules around Universal Credit etc, sorry.
