To let my puppy go outside?

My partner thinks we can't toilet train our new puppy outside in the garden because we have foxes. I think we have to because how else can we toilet train it? We can't wait until it's vaccinations are complete as it will be used to peeing inside?

Anyone with experience of a puppy in a garden with frequent fox visitors please help solve this argument!

I got the proper cleaner that makes it safer for puppies to go outside before vaccinations with my 2nd puppy.

We were told by the vet not to take our 1st puppy out due to the frequency of foxes (pup was only 2kg) and TBH it was a nightmare, he was amazing at peeing on a pee pad at the back door, he never had accidents but he struggled to get the hang of going outside, it took ages and was super stressful.

The 2nd time we just used the parvo cleaner stuff regularly until he'd had his vaccinations. He was a much bigger dog so I felt he wasnt as vulnerable.

Also a good idea is to section off a small part and just keep that clean.

Thank you! I'll do both of those suggestions
