What do I do..... DC vaped THC at school and got sick

Out of the blue. Two weeks ago at a friend's sleepover I got a call from the parent saying DC poorly and they confessed to a THC vape. Disappointed doesn't even cut it. Queue lots of research on dangers etc and an honest conversation.
Two weeks later and I needed to pick them up from school as got ill at school. They confessed to school they tried it again... very ill.
What 3puld you do ? What consequences would you put in place ? If you've dealt with similar before can you tell your story ?
He's a good kid - mostly. Friends from nice backgrounds. I'm shocked and so angry. They've git their birthday in 2 weeks and I'm inclined to cancel it all. No presents. Turning 15. I'm frustrated but trying not to act like a lunatic and rather understand . But twice ? Help me navigate this please

I've had to Google to find out what thc is and apparently thc vspes are illegal? Where is he getting them from?

Say that if he does it again you will home educate him for his own safety.

I'm just exasperated.. but consensus seems to be don't punish. Wish I knew someone working in this field tgaf could scare him !! I'm seeing the gp tomorrow for something else so will ask for advice ... tx so much for the insights !
Where they get it from is easy apparently - in town. Older kids sell them. Gud knows from where

Does the school have a link police officer? Ours does and one of the things he does is stern talks to kids who've done this.

Hopefully his second whitey will put him off.

It a feeling of sickness, being clammy, sweaty, face drains of colour hence the expression a whitey.
It won't be in use today I wouldn't think as this was over 40 years ago and may have been a Scottish terminology.
Hopefully it's put him off the experimenting at school I wouldn't be happy with as that could have had serious repercussions on his education.
Hopefully he wakes up and sees it for what it's for..a mugs game.
Im a former drug user of twenty+years ..it's a waste.

It doesn't need to be it maybe the easiest stuff to get hold of and just experimentation and end's there.
My own path was different I got involved with the Northern soul scene at 16 and amphetamine speed was very prevelant.
Hopefully he doesn't move on to anything else as I said my experience is years ago.
Hopefully others can give you an up-to-date what's going on with teens and current drug trend usage.

It’s actually a real concern and personally I would be approaching school to get them involved. The study showed that 1 in 6 of confiscated vapes contained Spice .…The risks associated with Spice are significant ( not that I would want mine exposed to THC either !) so I’d trying to educate him as much as possible about the risks whilst showing him you understand what peer pressure can feel like and keeping an open dialogue.
