Need to make a decision by tomorrow

I have posted about this but had no responses so posting in aibu for traffic!

Has anyone had any paint protection and interior protection on their car? I've been offered gardx interior and exterior protection on the car I'm buying and need to decide by tomorrow whether to go ahead or not. I've tried researching it online but it's mainly coming up with discussions on car enthusiast sites where the users seem to like detailing their own cars anyway. I want my car to stay looking nice but I am loathe to put any time or effort into this, I'm a busy mum who's already spread too thin!

Sorry for such a boring aibu

Unless you live somewhere where paint is likely to be damaged (trees, rusty rainwater from a bridge etc) then I wouldn’t bother. Just make sure if a bird poops on it, clean it quickly as that ruins paint!

Yes on the last three cars and it’s worth it. Brilliant if you have messy passengers (or drivers) fantastic if you have dogs in the car. Worth its weight in gold if like me, you hate cleaning the exterior more than once or twice per year and then only with a single bucket of cold soapy water.

edit to add even though I’m now on my own and don’t have dogs (at the moment) I would definitely have it applied interior and exterior to the next car I bought if it was an option. Even more than having heated seats - which I adore.

Never heard of it. Is it something that you have read about previously and think maybe it's worth it ( no idea as to the cost ) or is it something the car salesman is trying to push you into buying ? I personally wouldnt bother, ultra clean cars dont come high on my list of priorities.

Interior is worth its weight in gold with kids! If they puke etc then you literally just wipe it off and then go over with a damp cloth.

Muddy footprints, just leave it to dry and then a stiff brush to get the worst off and then wipe over with a damp cloth.

My dd literally coated my car in vomit due to a stomach bug and it cleaned up easily.

I wouldn't get a car without it!

Have you looked at the price of buying it separately? The mark-up from a dealership/car retailer for anything is usually extremely high.
