Should I apply for new job?

My current job gives me the hours I want (part time around child) and the money is good.
I don’t feel challenged and find there is quite a lot of bitching about each other in the team and I find that difficult. There isn’t any progression where I am.

A job has come up where I may be able to negotiate the right hours and likely similar pay to what I’m on. There is a lot of training with the job and would help with my career progression. But it would a lot of extra courses and a higher risk role.
it feels an exciting interesting role but my DC doesn’t sleep well and I’m not sure how I’d manage the workload/ training. There would be higher expectations on me.

What would you do?
AIBU- stay in your current role
AINBU- go for the new role

There are plenty of stages where you or the potential new employer decide not to go ahead but at least apply.

You've nothing to lose by applying. Put the application in, find out more about these courses etc.
