I have been dealing with the Howden's depot that my builder recommended (not the one closest to me) and am having issues with the designer. My emails have never been replied to, and the one telephone call I made never returned.
In fairness to her she has done 2 designs, (the first one I would never have gone for as there seemed very little thought in it, but the second one was quite good).
However, I am unable to discuss anything with her over phone/email and need some changes done due to pipe work issues that we have just discovered.
She has also started ignoring my builder's emails so my builder and I have been trying to figure out which Howden's cabinet to put where!!
Not easy with a tape measure and biro for marking things out on the wall, and me pouring over the howdens catalogue to figure out which cabinet widths/depths I can use.
I'm so frustrated with this set up but not sure what my options are
- keep with the same depot, but change designers (which will upset the designer who is clearly my builders friend - and potentially uspet said builder who is doing other work for us too.)
- ask builder to change to a different howdens depot near me, for 'convenience' as his depot is 2 hours away from me.
Am I being unreasonable to ask for a 3rd (and hopefully last) change due to difficult pipe work and notches in the wall that prevent placements of the WM and DW in certain places. AIBU?
Many thanks
