Bisoproplol & alcohol? Advice

Hi, just been put on 1.25 mg of bisoproplol daily for tachycardia high fast heart rate.
Its my birthday on Saturday, has anyone had a glass of wine while on this?
no judgment I wanted a glass of procesco for my birthday lol

I’m on 10mg daily and still drink on it, doesn’t seem to do me any harm! The lowering heart rate effect isn’t as great, as alcohol obviously increases your heart rate!

I’m on 2.5mg and still drink. I don’t drinks spirits anymore as that gets my heart rate flying. Red wine is fine,
rose in moderation but not white. I don’t drink much beer but that’s usually fine for me too.

My husband takes it and drinks a little but cannot drink dry wine and specifically not Prosecco as it makes his heart race massively.

1.25mg is a tiny dose, you will be fine as long as you don't get paralytic as alcohol can increase your heart rate.
Im on 7.5mg (3.25 BD) and I don't drink, if I do on a rare occasion it's a bottle of kopperburg and it doesn't do anything to my heart rate
