I’m so desperate to find out what the issue is with my foot that Mumsnet feels like my only hope! I’ve seen how wonderful people have been diagnosing others issues, so I’m wondering if you can help me too?
About 2 months ago I had pain where my little toe and second toe join the top of my foot. The pain turned into a hard white patch that has spread over the top
of my foot and round my ankle. The skin either side is purple and the white skin is cold and hard. I am not sure if it is just the skin or something underneath?
I’ve seen 3 different doctors and been to A&E (when they said suspected DVT) but none of them can tell
me what the issue is and despite 4 courses of very strong antibiotics, no improvement.
They are not carrying out any further tests or treatment, but clearly something is wrong! I’m scared and feel ignored.
Other info: no other health issues, no regular medication, I am overweight but my ankle is also swollen. No DVT found and circulation was normal.
AIBU to expect a doctor to take this seriously and if they can’t diagnose it at least offer some/any tests? It seems to be about to spread up my leg!
